Rubies in the Rubble starts with a very simple thought – What if we used the some of the tones of discarded fruit and vegetables that are thrown away every day to make something tasty? Rubies is a chutney brand that does just that. We helped them set themselves a very simple mission – To make the tastiest chutney in the nicest possible way – and saw it through from verbal positioning, to brand mark, packaging, and website. (Though pretty much everybody is more occupied with the embossing machine.)

“Judgments”

I took this last year, but in retrospect, I think it’s my strongest piece from high school.

Working on this project really made me examine my own opinions, preconceptions and prejudices about “slutty” women and women who choose to cover all of their skin alike. I used to assume that all women who wore Hijabs were being oppressed, slut-shame, and look down on and judge any woman who didn’t express her sexuality in a way that found appropriate.

I’d like to think I’m more open now.

Allan Teger, Bodyscapes

Photographer Allan Teger’s Bodyscapes project makes the nude human form fun - sexy fun.

has taken the nude body and transformed it into a landscape, taking the bodies curves, unique characteristics, and shape and made it the playground of miniature figures.

project’s monochrome photos are made by placing miniatures directly on nude models, which become the landscape for comical, often suggestive recreation. The project began in 1976 and continues through today, according to the Bodyscapes website.
